I thought I’d come to my ActiveRain Community and get your thoughts on how you stack the dishwasher.
My blogging habit is to write about whatever happens to me during the week, whether personal or business-related. Topics often come from conversations with friends, colleagues, or family, as well as things I read or hear about.
Last night’s “discussion” in my house was about the supposed right and wrong way to stack a dishwasher. I’m usually the first to admit there’s no single right way to tackle most tasks, so I’m open to different approaches—but that doesn’t mean I don’t have my own opinion.
Here are the questions I have for you:
Do you align all your mugs and glasses along the outside of the top rack?
Do you place your bowls on the up rack or the low rack, and do you place them close together?
Do you place your dishes close together within the pegs of the rack? or do you allow two or three pegs in-between each dish?
Do you rinse your dishes well before placing them in dishwasher or do you just scape off the food into the trash bin and place into dishwasher?
and the BIGGIE: Do you put your silverware and knives facing up or facing down in the silverware rack?
